Join Oakland Library for a story time designed especially for babies and toddlers. This program stimulates children’s language development and social skills through stories, music, rhymes, and other activities. Please join Accident Library on Tuesday mornings beginning at 11:00 AM for a fun-filled hour of stories and crafts designed to foster a love of reading for young children ages 2 and up. Introducing a special partnership with Dove Center and Shoofly Java: Coffee, Tea & Trauma Recovery Join the Dove Center at Shoofly Java to enjoy coffee, tea, and trauma recovery tips. Afterward, we will head to Jitterbug Movement Studio for a session of healing yoga. This is a time for participants to relax and learn, and will not require deep sharing about trauma history. It is a safe, judgment-free setting to begin or continue your healing. Schedule: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Meet at Shoofly for coffee, tea, snacks, and meaningful conversation, and tips for recovering from trauma. This will include a mindfulness exercise. 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: Break/Questions 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM: Meet at Jitterbug Movement Studio for a Healing Yoga Session with @aylabellefit These sessions are at no cost to participants. They are made possible by a grant through the Dove Center, to provide trauma-informed healing opportunities. REGISTER HERE

Kids’ Book Club is a book discussion group for children in grades 3 through 5. Programs are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month September through November and January through May. Members will be provided with books that they will read and discuss with the group. Meetings include activities and snacks. Registration is required. Calling all LEGO lovers! Join the LEGO Club at the Friendsville Library. We will meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Join the library for some free-building fun based on an awesome new theme each month! Your creative build will even be displayed in the library for others to enjoy! Accident Library invites you to join our sewing circle: "A Stitch in Time." The library meets every Saturday morning at 9:30 AM.
