Reptile Feeding
Visit our nature center to watch the weekly feeding of our resident black rat snake, eastern painted turtle, and common snapping turtle. Meet at the Herrington Manor Ranger Station. Note: Schedule is subject to change without notice. All outdoor events are weather-dependent. Dress for the weather and activity, wear sunscreen and insect repellent, bring plenty of water, and remember to check for ticks! **All Park programs are free to the public, but park entrance fees may still apply.**
Furs, Feathers, and Skulls!
Drop by the Lake House for this hands-on program, where Ranger Noah will be displaying a collection of furs, feathers, and skulls. Test your knowledge of local birds and mammals and learn about the unique traits that set these animals apart. This program is a "come and go" style display, so visitors are welcome to stop by at any point during the program window.
