The showcase informs the public about programs and services for Maryland citizens who are low-vision, blind, print disabled, or have other disability needs.

The Exchange will go from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM so make sure to stop by for some fresh, FREE produce!! 🥦🥕🫑 (*Limited to 100 boxes, first come, first serve!) Check out the schedule for the 2024 Nourishing Neighbors Mobile Market & Resource Exchanges! Food will be distributed beginning at 11:00 AM on a first-come, first-served basis and is limited to 100 boxes. To receive a box, participants will be asked to complete a screener. Our Outreach Team, along with other Community Partners, will be joining the exchanges to provide health education and connect individuals to needed resources. Park Pals – Week Three

New Germany Lake House 403 McAndrews Hill Road, Grantsville

New Germany State Park will host Junior Ranger "Park Pals", a free program designed for children ages 5-7, every Thursday from July 11 through August 8. Each week will feature a nature-themed program, such as identifying mammals, searching for amphibians and reptiles, fishing, growing mushrooms, and arts and crafts. All children must be supervised by a parent or guardian. The programs are free (supported by the Friends of New Germany State Park), but donations are welcome. Registration is required for each weekly program and space is limited. To register, please email noah.manges@maryland.gov.
