Summer Blood Drive

Southern High School’s Student Council will be hosting a summer blood drive at the American Legion in Oakland on July 10th, from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. The student council was able to bring in 110 units of blood this past school year, which not only saved numerous lives but also awarded the school a scholarship in the amount of $1500 to give to deserving seniors.

Donors who give can qualify for a $15 e-gift card to a merchant of their choice.

Please help Southern with their first drive of the 2026-2027 school year! The legion will also be hosting a BBQ chicken dinner. Give blood and grab a dinner!
