Shred Day

Shred Day is happening on March 23, 2024, from 12-noon – 3:00 PM at the main library in Oakland. Sponsored by the Friends of the Ruth Enlow Library in partnership with Sunrise Shred, Shred Day is your opportunity to safely get rid of your old documents.

The Sunrise shred truck will be located in the parking area behind the main library, accessed by the alley off of Center Street and across from Our Town Theatre. We encourage members of the community to bring any documents that need shredding, such as credit applications, returned checks, personal information of any kind, investment, and tax data – anything that is considered confidential.
