Run for the Trees: Happy Little 5K!

The Friends of Maryland State Forests and Parks have again joined forces with sixteen other states to host the Run for the Trees virtual 5K event to help raise money for tree planting and forest protection efforts.

This virtual event invites you to complete a 5K anytime between April 18-26, 2026, coinciding with Earth Day and Arbor Day. Registered participants will receive a Happy Little T-shirt, sticker, commemorative bib, and finisher’s medal.

Register online and support Maryland State Forests and Parks! When you register, you will be asked to pick which state you want your proceeds to go to.
