Historical Society Annual Dinner

DATE: June 5, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, doors open at 4:30 PM, meeting starts at 5:00 PM.

Please join the Garrett County Historical Society at the Pleasant Valley Community Center for a delicious turkey dinner and enjoy our speaker, Denise Shay. Denise is the President of the Yough Glades chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She will ask the question, “Were there no Mothers of the Revolution?” There will be a silent auction with proceeds to benefit the historical society’s museums.

The cost is $30.00 per person, and it can be paid at the door. Reservations are required, and seating is limited to 100 people. The event is open to the public; you do not need to be a member, and all are welcome.
