The committee for organizing the activities for the 50th Anniversary of Deep Creek Lake Lions Club met on September 26, 2022, to plan the Gala, silent auction, and many more activities. The Gala is scheduled for February 7, 2023, at the Wisp Resort with a keynote speaker by Brian McKeever, the most decorated Para-Olympic cross-country skier ever.
