The weather today will be partly sunny, with a chance of showers in the morning, then showers, with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds and tornadoes. Highs in the lower 60s. Temperature falling into the upper 40s in the afternoon. South winds of around 10 to 15 mph, becoming west 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Gusts up to 35 mph. The chance of rain is near 100%.

As of March 13, Maryland Department of Natural Resources crews stocked 4,860 trout. In Garrett County, rainbow trout were stocked in the North Branch Potomac River (delayed harvest).

Garrett County riders ages 15–24 can receive a free ATV helmet by completing a short online safety course through the ATV Safety Institute. The offer is available to Garrett County residents through May 25, 2026, with 15 spots available.
