Western waters are cooling and low, making fishing challenging. Largemouth bass are more active, favoring grass beds and sunken wood. Use soft craw baits, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits along edges, and try frogs or buzzbaits in the morning and evening. Wacky rigged worms work well during the day.
