The weather today will be showers, with a chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then showers, with thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce gusty winds and small hail in the afternoon–highs around 70 and a low of 47. Except in the lower 60s at the higher elevations. West winds of around 5 to 10 mph. The chance of rain is 90%.

Railroads of Garrett County: A History Class starts on June 5th, 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM (June 5, 12, 19, & 26, 2024) at the Railroad Station. Led by Dr. Neal Brooks, it covers the B&O Railroad, Preston Railroad in Crellin, and the impact of the Civil War. The class includes topics on steam and diesel locomotives, and the social and business aspects of railroads.
