The weather today will be isolated thunderstorms in the morning. Mostly sunny, with a slight chance of showers–highs in the lower 70s and a low of 54. Northwest winds of around 10 to 15 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph. The chance of rain is 20%.

FYI – the Splash Pad in Mountain Lake Park will be closed the week of June 24-27 for resurfacing.

The Deep Creek Watershed Foundation’s Rain Barrel Training and Distribution Project, led by Ashley Bodkins, is underway. Due to high demand, more barrels were ordered and delivered this year. Stay tuned for training and distribution dates and locations.

Adventure at Oakland Library! Enjoy games, crafts, activities, and a 40-foot inflatable obstacle course (weather permitting) for Adventure Stations. Deep Creek Pottery invites you to participate in Make a Mug Monday, crafting a unique mug from a slab of clay! You’ll texture the mug yourself and select a glaze upon completion.
