Monday, April 1, 2024: The weather today will be showers and scattered thunderstorms in the morning, then scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Patchy fog. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall in the morning. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall in the afternoon–highs in the upper 50s and a low of 50. West winds of around 10 to 15 mph. Gusts up to 30 mph in the morning. The chance of rain is near 100%.

Did you hear?! Deep Creek Lake will be the home of the world’s first aquatic golf course!

The Garrett County Sheriff’s Office continues to host the annual Defensive Tactics training at Northern Garrett High School today. Expect additional emergency vehicles on campus during the training.

Stop by and see the Shed Lady this week to take a look at all the inventory she has on-site! The early bird gets the worm!

Beginner paint class starts today at St. Peter the Apostle Church Hall. Every Monday evening, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM until May 13, 2024 the group will be painting “Our Lady of Fatima” icon. No experience needed, all supplies included.

BTW – fortunately or unfortunately, the aquatic golf course is an April Fools’ joke! 🙂
