Community Development Network Awards

Each year the Community Development Network of Maryland recognizes organizations engaging in extraordinary community development work. 

The deadline for nominations is September 8th at midnight.

Awardees will be honored during our Annual Meeting on October 16th.

  1. Collaboration: This category honors an individual or organization that has engaged in a collaboration that creatively connects groups within the community development industry. We will highlight distinctive, creative collaborations where the entity, working with one or more partners, has created new connections among organizations that were not previously connected.
  2. Impact: This award goes to an organization or project that has had a significant impact in their communities and the lives they serve.
  3. Cross Sector Projects: This category recognizes projects that incorporate partners outside the community development sector (e.g. education, health, environment) to improve the quality of life of community members.
  4. Housing Counseling Stars: This award is presented to a person for their work in the field of housing counseling. The award can go to managers, counselors, or anyone connected with an agency providing housing counseling services in Maryland.
  5. Legacy: This award is presented to a person for their lifetime achievement in and commitment to the community development field.
