The Board of Trustees of the Ruth Enlow Library of Garrett County, Maryland will accept sealed bids for the replacement of the Friendsville Library, located at 315 Chestnut St., Friendsville, MD 21531.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 23, 20,24 on the project site. Bidder attendance is recommended but not required.
A copy of the bid documents can be downloaded from the Library’s website at www.relib.net/rfp. Inquiries may be made by calling (301) 334-3996 x. 0102 or by emailing thomas@relib.net.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the Ruth Enlow Library of Garrett County, 6 N Second St., Oakland, Maryland 21550 on or before Friday, September 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM (local time). Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Meeting Room of the Library at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 20, 2024. All bidders are required to submit one (1) copy of their bid documents at the time of submission. All bids submitted should be enclosed in a sealed envelope and should be clearly marked “Replacement of Friendsville Library” on the outside of the envelope. Any bids received after the time due will not be considered for award and shall be retained as documentation for the bid file.
The Board of Trustees of the Ruth Enlow Library of Garrett County, Maryland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to cancel this invitation to bid, and waive technicalities in any part deemed to be in the best interest of the Library.
