The McHenry Community Park is maintained by the Deep Creek Lake Lions Club. The park has a free 18-hole disc golf course, hiking and biking paths, a dog park, a Meshach Browning historical area, a pavilion, and a softball field. Work has begun on a pump track and exploratory work has begun on an all-inclusive playground. On Saturday, October 21, 2023, Deep Creek Lake Lions Club held a clean-up day. Even though it was rainy and cold a great turnout participated in cleaning out the restrooms, pavilion, and garage.
