WVU Master of Health Administration Students visit Garrett Regional Medical Center (Deep Creek Lake, MD)

Students enrolled in West Virginia University’s School of Public Health Master of Health Administration program recently visited Garrett Regional Medical Center. During the site visit, students were given a tour of the hospital and a presentation on performance improvement by GRMC President and CEO Mark Boucot.

Throughout the tour, students were provided with an overview of GRMC and available hospital and specialty services.

The presentation focused on Lean Six Sigma methodology, processes and performance improvement measures, and valuable tools that can be utilized to improve performance improvement within the hospital setting.
