Patchy fog after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Maryland DNR is offering its annual Migratory Game Bird Stamp contest again, which is open to residents and nonresidents until November 5, 2021. The winning entry will appear on the 2022-2023 Migratory Game Bird Stamp required to hunt migratory game birds in Maryland.

There is a Pump Track Supporters’ meeting Thursday Sept 23 @6pm @ the McHenry Community Park pavilion Deep Creek Lake Lion’s Club Just to touch base on what’s going on with funding and construction plans.

Garrett County’s Planning & Land Management Department is updating the Land Preservation and Recreation Plan and is seeking public input through an online survey. They are looking to gather public feedback on the outdoor recreation demands, identify improvements, and establish priorities for the future development of parks, facilities, programs, and services within the community.
