The Maryland State Department of Health just reported the number of drug and alcohol-related overdose deaths by county for the second quarter of 2017. Garrett County has had 2 opioid deaths in the past 12 months.
On Saturday, October 28th, the 1994 Laker men’s basketball team, which won Garrett College’s first state and Region XX championships, along with three former athletes and a coach will be inducted into the college’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
