Important reminder for our readers: Potomac Edison is planning a power outage today that will impact customers in the McHenry and Oakland areas between 9:00am – 9:15am. This is an outage for construction/repairs. In the event that it needs to be rescheduled for weather, they will move it to Thursday, November 9th from 9:00am – 9:15am.

In 2013 Brett Simpson entered into and completed what is considered to be one of the hardest bike races in the world, Tour Divide. Simpson is scheduled to give a presentation as part of the Adventure Sports colloquium series on Tuesday, November 14 at 7:00pm in room 1013 in the Center for Adventure & Outdoor Studies (CAOS) building at Garrett College.
