Yesterday morning we had a freezing rain that covered local trees and structures and extended through the afternoon. Today will be rain showers and patchy fog; high of 54 and low of 47. We could receive a quarter of an inch to half an inch of rain today.
Just heard that Liz Morin, Garrett Container Systems, Inc. and Paul Cornish, Patriot Chrysler Dodge and Jeep have been appointed to the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Congratulations to Liz and Jim.
Team Trivia is available this evening at the Greene Turtle in McHenry from 6:30pm – 8:30pm and its open mic night at MoonShadow.
Sniff, sniff, sniff. The National Police Bloodhound Association will be holding their Spring training session in the Deep Creek Lake area from April 28th – May 3rd. There will be many human and dog teams doing “hide and seek” drills throughout the County so don’t be alarmed if you see a bunch of police dogs in the area.

The Allegany Arts Council is hosting a show, George Radeschi, Wood Turned Art, Decorative and Functional now through March 31st. They are also hosting a show by Lesa Cook, Gods, Heroes and Fools through the 31st as well.
The next Women’s Networking Luncheon will be at Ace’s Rin on April 5th. Cost is $15.
