Yesterday was cool and snowy, with local accumulations of between 6-7”. The weather for today will be mostly sunny with a high of 11.

Great turn-out and very informative presentation at yesterday’s Business Before Hours Chamber event at the Wisp. Dr. J.D. Foster from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce gave an economic update for the nation that was pretty much very positive, with just a few potential challenges ahead.

OK, I really try to work out a few times a week. Here’s a very short video of me at the CARC yesterday. Not one of my better workouts… But, the CARC has open swim nights on Wednesdays and a great spinning class with Sally as well. Call for details.

There’s a meeting of the Drug-Free Communities Action Team at the Health Department in Oakland this evening from 5:30pm – 7:00pm.

The Friends of New Germany State Park will be celebrating the park’s unique beginnings as a Civilian Conservation Corps camp March 11th from 1:00am to 4:30pm. Join them at the Lake House for a premier showing of “New Germany – Past & Present,” a new documentary film featuring local historian, Bill Martin.
