My car’s outside temperature reading yesterday afternoon hit 75 degrees! Beautiful day. Showers expected today and possibly a thunderstorm this afternoon. High of 66 degrees and a low of 41 degrees. We could see about a quarter of an inch of rain.
The Allegany Arts Council is hosting a free Student Arts Showcase now through March 3rd.
Had a great time the other evening at the home of Vianne and Mike Bell. They hosted their annual Chinese New Year celebration and a fundraiser for Garrett College athletics. Dean Yuan’s recipes were delectable as always.
The Friendsville Library will host Coloring Therapy with Beverly this evening at 5 p.m. All ages are welcome at this free program, and all supplies are provided.

The Landon’s Library Youth Basketball (LLYB) wrapped up its second season on Sunday evening with the Championship Games at Garrett College after a week of tournament games: the Champions were the Tar Heels and the Mountaineers. Our dedicated group of coaches recognize that coaching these kids goes well beyond the game of basketball.
