Want to play a role in making your local library even better? Join the Friends of the Library and share your ideas for programs on the second Wednesday of each month at the Oakland Ruth Enlow Library branch from 6pm-7pm.

Dr. Nicole Miller, principal at Grantsville Elementary School in Garrett County Public Schools (now principal at Southern Garrett High School), recently joined more than 50 fellow principals from around the world for the 2018 DEN Summer Institute (DENSI) Principal Summit.

Speaking of, Garrett County Board of Education will meet on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. The public meeting will be held at Central Office in the Board Room beginning at 5:30pm and the agenda can be found at the link.
