Have you ever imagined entering the human body to see how it works?
Visit the Garrett County Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 5th, to walk through a huge inflatable colon!
The Health & Wellness Fair is on Saturday, April 5th, from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Garrett College CARC in McHenry. This free community event is designed to increase health awareness and promote health-oriented resources for all ages.
The fair is an event for the entire family and includes a Kids Zone with booths, activities, and demonstrations specifically designed for children.
Vendor booths have officially SOLD OUT this year, and multiple screening services will be available, in addition to fun activities and giveaways!
In addition to the inflatable colon, here are some of the planned screenings and activities:
- BMI
- Skin Cancer
- Blood Pressure
- Blood Glucose
- Seated Massages
- Resource Referral
- Insurance Enrollment
- Face Painting
- And MORE!
Demonstrations are scheduled in four specific time slots throughout the day, including:
- 9 am CARC
- 10 am Nomad Brazilian jiu-jitsu, mixed martial arts
- 11 am Jazzercise
- 11:45 am Cosmic Studios
