The Garrett County Health Department has received positive COVID-19 results for two additional persons, bringing the current county total positives to 74. The new positive COVID-19 cases include two males in their teens, with symptoms, who are currently isolating. Those readers that own property in home owners associations (HOAs) are likely getting ready to, or have just participated in, their subdivision’s annual owner meeting. One of the big topics within my HOA and on our board of directors, has been late season lake water levels. I have heard this from others at the lake as well. The first presidential debate is today, and though we avoid politics on this site, I thought I would share this non-partisan event.. On Wednesday, FRONTLINE (Maryland Public Television) and Columbia University are hosting a virtual event to discuss the two major-party candidates. This virtual event will feature veteran FRONTLINE filmmaker Michael Kirk highlighting the defining moments that shaped Trump’s and Biden’s lives, as they compete for the votes of people living in battleground states such as Ohio.
