The Garrett County Snowdrifters club is holding their first meeting of the season on Saturday, November 9 at 6 pm, Dutch’s at SIlvertree, in the basement room behind the bar. The meeting is open to everyone and there is no charge to attend. GCS promotes camaraderie and responsible snowmobile riding amongst the membership and plans group events during the season (weather permitting).
The Garrett Lakes Arts Festival is committed to classical and symphonic music and therefore that programming and are, thus, launching the special “Concertmaster’s Society” fundraising campaign. Their campaign goal is to raise 19.86% (their founding year) of our classical music budget for the 2020 Symphony Orchestra season.
