Garrett County Public Schools will be conducting an active assailant drill on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, with the staff and students at Southern Middle School. School Resource Officers and other law enforcement and/or emergency personnel will be on-site for the duration of the drill. Parents and community members should be aware that the training activity is just a drill and not an actual emergency in progress.

Join The Ruth Enlow Library for the Story Time at the Kitzmiller Library as they look, listen, sing, and play while learning through stories, crafts, and other fun activities. This program is geared for children ages 3-5.
The Weekly Group Bike Rides are still going! These rides depart from the parking lot in front of The Tiny Corner Bike Shop every Tuesday at 5:30 PM. Riders are grouped by ability level, so no one gets left behind.
