October 28th is Garrett County’s Drug Free Communities Coalition “Take Back Day,” where County citizens can bring in over-the-counter and prescription medications to McHenry Police Barracks, Garrett County Sheriff’s office and Oakland City Hall.

Remembering our local and national military: On November 10th, Garrett College will take part in a nationwide effort to honor American service men and women who died in Iraq and Afghanistan during the past decade by holding a Remembrance Day National Roll Call in the auditorium located on the McHenry campus.
