The weather today will be showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly after 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 67 and a low around 44. Southwest wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

The Garrett County Arts Council and the Oakland A&E District are auctioning several pumpkin sets made by local artist April Hershberger. You can bid by visiting the Gallery Shop in downtown Oakland from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
