I am starting a little offshoot of Deep Creek Times called the Deep Creek Adventure Bureau… aka DCAB! It’s an outdoor event production company based here — cycling, paddling, hiking, running events – anything outdoors! We’re planning for our 2022 rides, runs, and races now!
The first DCAB event is on December 4: Global Fat Bike Day! Join us at Herrington Manor State Park at 12pm and ride with us (if you have a fat bike) or try one out (the park has rentals).

The Garrett County Health Department has scheduled seasonal flu and pneumonia immunization clinics this November. The vaccines will be available at walk-in clinics at Health Department sites in Oakland today from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
