The Maryland Department of Tourism shares 11 Ways to Get Out on the Water! Deep Creek Lake is listed at #10 on their list (but we know we’re #1 in your hearts!).

The Deep Creek Watershed Foundation is auctioning off a FLYING SCOT #16 that was graciously donated to the Foundation by the family of the late General Joseph P. Franklin, a long-time resident of Thousand Acres. The Flying Scot sailboat in the listing photos will be sold to the highest bidder via email auction format closing on August 16th. It’s in our marketplace under “BOATS”.
