Garrett County Board of Education unanimously voted to accept the bid of an outside consultant (Educational Facilities Planning LLC) to help Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS) develop a strategic facilities plan. A SFC (Strategic Facilities Committee) was formed and membership includes local business leaders, community partners, parents, and several members of GCPS staff. All of the meetings are public and information regarding the meeting times and locations are publicized far in advance.
