Southern Garrett High School’s Student Council is hosting Joshua Mayne, MA, from Top Youth Speakers, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, in the SGHS cafetorium. The speaker will discuss the dangers of vaping nicotine and THC products. Parents, especially students in grades 3-8, and community members are encouraged to attend this meeting. The speaker will be followed by local information about access to vapes and what parents can do to prevent students from ever starting.
Refreshments will be provided for attendees, and door prizes will be given away. Doors will open for refreshments at 5:45 PM, with the speaker beginning promptly at 6:00 PM.
