Ruth Enlow Library receives Donation from Virginia Neff Estate

The Ruth Enlow Library was honored to receive a $60,000 bequest from the estate of Virginia Lee Neff, retired teacher, artist, and library lover, who passed away at the age of 77 on May 29, 2023.

“We here at the Library are humbled my Ms. Neff’s generosity in remembering us,” said Library Director Thomas Vose. “These funds will be used in the creation of an endowment to help provide for the Library’s future in Garrett County and ensure that generations to come will appreciate it as much as she did.”

The Ruth Enlow Library of Garrett County has served its community since 1915 with print, non-print, and electronic resources designed to meet a variety of informational needs. The library’s staff is dedicated to providing quality service to its patrons. In all five branches of the library system, patrons will find helpful staff and access to a wide array of books and information.
