Ruth Enlow Library to Host TED Talk Screening and Discussion

The Ruth Enlow Library will host a free TED Talk Screening and Discussion on Monday, January 29, from 6 – 7 p.m. at the Oakland Library. Facilitated by Director Thomas Vose, this event will allow attendees to watch the TED Talk video as a group and then enjoy a time for sharing questions and ideas. “TED Talks are videos that present a great idea in 18 minutes or less. They’re filmed at flagship TED conferences, independent TEDx events, and other programs. Their goal is to share Ideas Worth Spreading — in fields like science, technology, business, culture, art and design — around the world,” notes the TED website.

Registration is not required, but a courtesy call or email to Bonnie at 301-334-3996, ext. 0117 or bonnie@relib.net will let the library know the estimated attendance.
