Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Espresso Alley Expansion & Mobile Service

The Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Garrett County Department of Business Development, proudly celebrated the grand opening of Espresso Alley: Hot 2 Go on Friday, August 15, 2025.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Connor Norman, Business Development Specialist and Chair of the Garrett County Diplomats. Local dignitaries in attendance included Kim Durst, Business Development Manager with Garrett County Business Development; Chamber Board Members Jay Quinn, Emily Tusing, and Nathan Walter; and Chamber President Nick Sharps.

Espresso Alley: Hot 2 Go is a vintage-inspired coffee camper stationed at 7790 Sang Run Road in McHenry. Owned and operated by barista Allison Lenhart, the mobile café is the sister concept to the original Espresso Alley, Deep Creek Lake’s first drive-thru coffee shop, established in 2022. The pink coffee camper serves up crowd favorites, including fresh-brewed coffee, specialty drinks, and snacks, with the added flexibility to travel to private events such as weddings, bachelorette parties, birthdays, baby showers, and more.

“It’s a great day for Garrett County when we see one of our businesses expand to a second location,” said Norman. “Congratulations!”

The Garrett County Diplomat,s including Katie Cantrell (Taylor-Made Deep Creek Sales), Stephanie Filsinger (The Rodeheaver Group, P.C.), Connor Norman (Garrett County Department of Business Development), Kristin Skeweris (Railey Realty), and Emily Tusing (Garrett Regional Medical Center) joined in the festivities and assisted with the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

“Congratulations to Allison and her crew on adding this second location,” said Sharps. “Espresso Alley has already changed the coffee game here in Deep Creek. It’s loved by tourists and locals alike, and I anticipate continued success for Hot 2 Go.”
