Time is running out to register for the Oakland Youth Football League (OYFL) 2026 season. The league will hold its final in-person registration event this Saturday, April 11, at the Southern Garrett High School gymnasium from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Programs are available for tackle football and cheerleading (ages 5–14) and flag football (ages 4–6).
Registration Details and Fees:
Tackle Football & Cheerleading: $60 registration fee.
Flag Football: $30 registration fee.
Optional: Personalized jerseys are available for purchase at $50. Please note that additional fees apply for cheerleading participants.
Required Documentation: A copy of the participant’s birth certificate is required at the time of registration.
The OYFL is committed to ensuring all local youth have the opportunity to play. If registration fees present a financial hardship, parents are encouraged to speak with a league representative at the event to discuss available fundraising options.
The 2026 season officially begins with practices in late July, followed by a game schedule running from August through October, including playoffs.
