The Baltimore Office of Promotions & the Arts, Inc., in partnership with the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers, awarded Ms. Eden Rankin, an eighth-grade student at Northern Garrett Middle School, with the following 2023 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards:
- Silver Key for π«πππππ’π π©ππππ in the Science Fiction & Fantasy category
- Silver Key for π·πππππππππ πΆπ π·πππππππ in the Short Story category
Ms. Rankin’s work was reviewed and recognized by a panel of creative professionals, and awarded for its outstanding merit in originality, technical skill, and the emergence of her personal voice and vision.
