Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS), along with Grimm and Parker Architects (G+P), hosted a grade band and facility use community meeting for northern area schools on January 12, 2023. There were presentations by representatives of GCPS and G+P, along with a question & answer period.

In addition, the links to the feedback forms referenced in the meeting are also available on the website. “We ask that stakeholders review the presentation in its entirety and then fill out the forms as appropriate,” said Dr. Nicole Miller, Chief Academic Officer. “The presentation contains significant information pertaining to the possible grade band alignment for northern area schools.”
Dr. Miller will provide an update on the Grade-Band Alignment Advisory Committee and Facility Utilization work during the January Board meeting that takes place later this evening.
