The weather today will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers before noon and a chance of showers after 3pm. Patchy fog before 10am. High near 66 and a low around 48. Southeast wind 3 to 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Governor Larry Hogan announced the end of the statewide mask mandate, aligning Maryland with new CDC guidance. This order took effect Saturday, May 15, along with the lifting of all capacity limits and restrictions that the governor announced earlier last week.

I pulled some ramps from the yard yesterday (literally we had some rogue ramps growing in the yard outside the flower bed) …. then I added them (raw) to pepperoni rolls from the Spent Grain Cafe. YUM.

The Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) welcomes a new Federal Co-Chair: Gayle Conelly Manchin. ARC works with 13 member governors, program managers, and a network of local development districts to strengthen economic growth throughout Appalachia.
