The weather will be mostly sunny. Patchy fog in the morning and a chance of showers in the afternoon—highs in the mid-70s and a low of 49. Southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph. The chance of rain is 30%.

What a weekend! I’m still buzzing from the first truly warm weekend of the season (and maybe one too many sips at the bingo fundraiser for HART for Animals).

We were outside all weekend. Everyone was in short sleeves. Friends were eating Lakeside Creamery ice cream. Boats were out on the water and people were swimming in Deep Creek Lake.

This Friday is the deadline for Garrett County students currently in their junior year of high school to submit an application for Autumn Glory Royalty. This year, a King and a Queen will be chosen to represent the 55th Annual Autumn Glory Festival at a variety of events throughout the summer and fall of 2022.
