Miller awarded occupational scholarship at Garrett College

Cordale D. Miller, a 2017 graduate of Northern High School, recently received the Occupational Scholarship, as part of the Garrett County Scholarship Program. Miller is a resident of Grantsville and is currently enrolled in the Class A CDL truck driving program at Garrett College.

As of July 2015, graduates from Garrett County high schools are eligible to enroll in workforce development programs, such as welding, machining, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), truck driving, phlebotomy, and other allied health programs. Through the Garrett County Scholarship Program, he or she may be eligible for tuition assistance to complete any of the above programs.
