GRMC patients now have the option to utilize MHealth, a free mobile device application to review their health information. MHealth is a mobile app that allows you to access your health information from your smartphone or tablet.
Downloading the MHealth app to your smartphone or tablet is free. Mobile devices need to be iOS 10- plus or Android 5-plus compliant. The MHealth app is provided by MEDITECH, which is GRMC’s electronic record provider. Connecting millions of patients in over 750 healthcare organizations worldwide, MEDITECH is a healthcare software company that provides an electronic health record system to healthcare providers.
The app provides GRMC patients the option to have direct, streamlined access to their patient portal information. By searching MHealth in your smart phone or tablet’s app store, you can easily download the app. Once downloaded, the user will be prompted to select the state of Maryland and then a list of hospitals that includes GRMC will appear. Once GRMC is selected, the user will be taken to a login that is similar to the internet browser login for GRMC’s patient portal.
The MHealth app can provide patients with such information as lab results, radiology reports, visit history and billing.
