Local Student Introduces Keynote Speaker at National Conference at Deep Creek Lake, MD

At the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP) conference, Samantha German, an outgoing fifth-grade student from Crellin Elementary, had the honor of introducing keynote speaker Joanne McEachen, Founder and CEO of the Learner First, to principals from all over the country. The three-day conference, tailored for pre-k through 8th-grade school leaders, offered a comprehensive professional learning experience aimed at empowering students. The event featured sessions led by expert practitioners, and principals also had networking opportunities with colleagues from across the nation, all with the focus of enhancing the student experience. Samantha will be attending Southern Garrett Middle School in the fall. Congratulations to her on being selected for this prestigious honor.
