Little Yough Family Flicks is a free event offered by The Mayor and Town Council of Oakland, MD, The Oakland Heritage Community Foundation, Inc., and the Greater Oakland Business Association. The event is a showcase of four family-friendly movies on Friday evenings in the Oakland Town Parking Lot. The Little Yough Family Flicks is a rebranding of the formerly known Oakland Pocket Park Movies.

The event kicked off last Friday with a showing of Playing with Fire sponsored by Mountain Laurel Medical Center. The schedule for the rest of the event is as follows:

08/28/2020- Onward sponsored by Club 21550

09/11/2020- Aladdin sponsored by First People’s Community Federal Credit Union

All showings begin at 8:30pm, weather permitting. The movies will be shown on a large inflatable screen and the sound will be transmitted via FM radio so guests are invited to watch from their vehicles. It is recommended that guests follow the COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines set by the CDC and Governor Hogan.
