Library Hosts Lynne Dale, Celtic Harper, in Recognition of Irish American Heritage Month

The Ruth Enlow Library invites the public to celebrate Irish American Heritage Month with a Celtic Harp concert on Monday, March 18, from 3:00 – 4:00 PM. at the Friendsville Library. The concert will feature harper Lynne Dale performing a selection of Celtic and popular tunes. There will also be some audience participation.  This event is free and open to the public. Lynne is a graduate of Mansfield University, Mansfield, PA. She has taught music and served as an organist and choir director in New England, the mid-Atlantic region, and Washington State.  She is currently an organist at St. John’s Episcopal Church and First Presbyterian Church, both in Frostburg.

Funding for this program is provided by the Garrett County Celtic Festival.
