Happening one more night, Saturday, October 19, 2024, Our Town Theatre invites you on an unforgettable ghost tour.
This chilling experience takes participants of Oakland, where characters from Garrett County’s past emerge to share their dark stories. Nancy recounts the many murders she committed and a young boy speaks of his tragic fate in the coal mines. Two schoolboys recall the Jesse James Club and the trouble that followed, while Susan roams the streets because of a long-ago dirty deed. I thoroughly enjoyed each of the aforementioned stories and several other tales.
The stories are gripping and immersive, but without giving too much away, the magic of this tour lies in how Our Town Theatre brings these tales to life. As you walk the almost deserted streets, you’ll feel the eerie atmosphere of a town steeped in mystery and history.
