Attention Deep Creek Lake State Park visitors!
Garrett County has announced that Glendale Road will be closed to traffic in both directions from the Route 219 entrance to Zeddock Miller Road beginning June 14 through the first part of August.
To access the park from 219, please follow the detour signs: Take Sand Flat Road, to Paradise Point Road, and to Zeddock Miller Road. This detour will allow access to all restaurants, businesses, and homes on Glendale Road.
Note, Glendale Road from Route 495 to Zeddock Miller Road will remain open. Signage will be posted on Route 495, Route 219, and Glendale Road.
