Garrett County Public Schools (GCPS), in partnership with Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc., is actively seeking and accepting trade subcontractor and vendor bids for the Southern Garrett Elementary School Pre-K to 6th Grade Additions, Renovations, and Modifications at Southern Garrett Middle School. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and contribute to this significant project, as outlined in the contract documents, which include the Drawings and Specifications prepared by BFM Architects Inc. and the Howard Shockey and Sons subcontract agreement.
Two pre-bid meetings will be held at the project site, 605 Harvey Winters Drive, Oakland, MD. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM. The primary focus of this meeting will be General Bidding Procedures and Site & Architectural Scopes of Work. The second meeting will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 3:45 PM – 5:00 PM. The primary focus of this meeting will be General bidding Procedures and Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Scopes of Work.
